The Farne Islands, Northumberland 17/06/2017

Another catch up post, this time from the Farne Islands on the Northumberland Coast of Seahouses, in 2017, visted on a full day out from Scarborough, driving there and back in the day and taking in a Billy Sheilds, 'All Day Bird Tour', a long and tiring day with 6 hours of driving involved, but brillaint, due to finally getting a visit with great weather (though to hot). Since visiting I belive the way to visit the Farne Islands has dramtically changed with problems with The National Trust, The Boat Trip Companies and Covid-19, I belive and trust that this has been resolved, but please check and book before setting off to visit. Visiting the Islands is truly a spectacular event, depending when you visit, with Puffins Galore and dive bombing Terns (Artic, Common and Sandwich present), masses of Guillemots and Razorbills and a chance to get up close to a colony of Shags.
Artic Terns
Puffins
Guillemots
