Peregrine Falcons 2018-2021

A catch up selection, of Peregrine Falcon photographs, all local to Scarborough, where for the last good number of years, we have had a breeding pair of Falcons, sited on the Castle Headland, around The Marine Drive in Scarborough. A special place to visit in a morning before work, with the camera and a good brew. Note, though a Schedule 1 bird, all photographs were taken from the public footpath and road and no disturbance was caused to the birds, which is evident in viewing the photographs, with the Falcons, breeding, sharing food, bringing up youngsters (when not predated by Foxes) and just the general length of stay on the cliffs.

A final interesting photograph with a Fulmar attacking an adult Peregrine, both came away seemingly unharmed.
