Puffins, Bempton Cliffs

Bempton Cliffs
Puffins

Puffins seem to be the hardest bird at Bempton Cliffs to photograph, as there aren't as many as other types of birds and they live in holes in the cliffs or in burrows in the grass banks so are not as exposed or visible as the others.

The below pictures are of a male Puffin, trying to get to its hole in the cliff without flying, it very nearly slipped off the edge.

If you look closely you can just see the female  in the hole.

Note not the best pictures, but always good to get any of a Puffin at Bempton.
