Happy New (Peregrine) Year
01/01/2012
Scarborough Castle Headland, Scarborough
Happy New Year to any body that looks at my blog of wildlife and landscapes, from wherever I end up around the country and world (well Europe at the moment as I am not yet that well travelled, but live in hope!!!).
Trips to Spain and Norway are booked for this year, so looking forward to happy times.
A quick drive round the Castle headland proved quite fruitful around 9.30 am this morning, the Peregrines were feeding on a fresh pigeon and fighting and displaying over the same, for around 30 to 45 minutes.
A great sight, but quite hard to photograph, due to bright low sun casting shadows and very varied light conditions, making the camera struggle to meter the light levels well.
Stunning set of pictures
