Any early morning wonder around the end of the Marine Drive this morning produced good views of a Juvenile Wheatear, assumingly awaiting the right time to head of to warmer climates for the winter.
Not much happening due to preparation for forthcoming holiday, but couple of hours, a couple of minutes from home, produced a Little Egret at Johnsons Marsh and a some come waders at Scalby Mills.
Cracking way to start of a new moth, a quiet late evening walk on the beach and a view of Common and Sandwich Terns diving and fishing for San Eels.
Not great photos as getting darkish, but a great record and sight, as honestly not seen them locally before and thought a trip to Northumberland was needed.
