Cormorant Versus Pike

Apologies for poor quality photography but the light was awful, the rain was starting and it happened on the wrong side of the Mere, but felt it was worth sharing a Cormorant and huge Pike battle, with the bird winning and swallowing it whole.

    Great action set Chris. It's very difficult to take a shoot of action like this. I think they are great.

    Wow amazing sequence of shots here! That pike is huge! I used to fish for Pike as a child and never caught one close to this size!

    Amazing capture! So did the huge like put up a good fight? Was it swallowed down wriggling/alive the whole way as well?!
